FAISALABAD: Four Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) officials were suspended from service for dereliction of duty on Monday.

Fesco Chief Executive Khursheed Aslam suspended People`s Colony Executive Engineer (EXEN) Mian Ahtsham, Batala Colony SubDivisional Officer Naeem Javed and line superintendent Fayyaz Ahmed for neglecting standard operating procedures that caused injuries to lineman Imtiaz Ali.

Similarly, Ghulam Mohammad Abad ExEn Nadeem Akbar was suspended from service for his failure to control power theft in Faizabad.

The Fesco chief also ordered a probe against the suspended officers.
