BAHAWALPUR: Three gunmen looted Rs 2 million from two bank officials in Yazman, about 30kms from here, on Monday.

Yazman city police said two officials -cashier Muhammad Usman and security guard Muhammad Amin -of Bank of Punjab (BoP) were on their way to BoP after collecting cashfrom the nearby National Bank branch. The armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire and injured the guard before snatching the cash bag.

Yazman city police SHO Shabeer said they might register a case against BoP officials as well for their failure to inform police before collecting cash. Correspondent
