RAWALPINDI: Three persons were injured when the roof of a house caved in after a gas stove explosion at Dhamial on Saturday night.

Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH), where they were identified as Shahzaib, 25, and his wife Zainab, 18.

Shahzaib sustained 30 per cent and the woman 50 per cent burn injuries.

Rescue 1122 said the third injured, a woman, was in critical condition and had already been shifted to a private hospital by local people when the rescuers arrived.

Fire extinguishers put out the flames in the house. The police have registered an FIR and started an investigation into the incident.
