ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan ordered on Wednesday immediate suspension of a visa-free entry agreement with Zambia.

The involvement of certain foreign ele-ments in smuggling of narcotics under cover of the agreement led to the decision, according to a spokesman for the ministry.

The agreement was signed in 1975-76.

A statement issued by the ministry quoted the minister as saying that nobody could be allowed to misuse international agreements.
