ALL of a sudden not one but two Ayeshas have emerged who are whitewashing Lahore and sealing and closing eateries, restaurants and shops, including vendors and canteens of even colleges, due to unhygienic affairs and dead animal`s meat.

One Ayesha is busy shutting down tax evaders and tax and NTN defaulters. It all sounds great.

If both the Ayeshas survive the onslaught of influentials` wrath, we might have a much cleaner Lahore but what surprises me is that from where have these ladies emerged? Or where were they before? These unhygienic centres and tax and NTN defaulters have beentherefordecadesandhadprospered under the umbrella of big guns.

These authorities toohad been therefor long. But why this sudden action now and such a drastic action as sealing business houses left right and centre? A citizen Lahore
