ISLAMABAD: The Federation of All Educational Institutions Associations of Islamabad on Monday staged a protest rally against the expected closure of educational institutions during the PTI “lockdown” of the city on Nov 2.

The representatives of teaching and non-teaching community of various institutions gathered in front of National Press Club and demanded the government ensure all educational institutions remain open.

The rally was led by Prof Sagheer Ahmed Mirani, Ghulam Sarwar Arain and Malik Ameer Khan.

“Closure of educational institutions can be detrimental to students,” said Prof Mirani.
