LA HOR E: In a meeting of the executive council, the Pakistan Awami Tehreek has reiterated support to the Nov 2 protest and promised to take workers to the venue.

General Secretary Khurram Nawaz Gandapur claims that PAT chief Tahirul Qadri is keeping a close watch on the evolving situation and it would take him only 11 to 12 hours to arrive in Pakistan, if the need arises.

`Pakistan is witnessing the worst kind of dictatorship, which the country experienced in the 60s. In the last 40 years, the rulers have learned nothing. They are falling back on the same tactics and barbaric attitude to block a legal protest. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is on his way out, but still resorting to administrative prowess of the state to cling to power in these last moments. The PAT condemns arrests of political workers and this state terrorism,` Gandapur says.
