MANSEHRA, Nov 30: The Qaumi Watan Party has postponed its public gathering scheduled to be held here on Sunday (today) after the district administration refused to allow the public gathering at the bus terminal.
`We wanted to hold a public gathering here at the bus terminal, but the district administration by order of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf didn`t grant permission in this regard. We will soon announce next date of our public gathering,` said MPA Ibrar Hussain Tanoli while speaking at a press conference here.
The QWP leader claimed that they were going to make public a dossier to expose corruption by PTI ministers and Imran Khan. He said that PTI-led government created hurdles to thegathering to deter the sacked QWP ministers from proving their innocence before public.
He said that the district administration was not ready to take the responsibility of security of people at the proposed site of public gathering and as such they did not want to put the lives of people in danger. He said that his party had been supporting the Hazara province movement.
`The PTI-led government cannot even upgrade the status of a tehsil to district. I don`t know how it would give the status province to Hazara,` Mr Tanoli said to a question. He also showed a dossier to mediaperson and claimed that it was carrying proofs of corruption by the PTI government. -Correspondent
