ALTHOUGH the US had promised the reconstruction of Afghanistan after the Soviet war, Washington did not fulfill its promises and made the Afghan masses a disenfranchised populace.
The only viable option to deal with the Afghan war is to withdraw foreign troops from Afghanistan. The US should help Afghanistan in its reconstruction, and let the Afghan people decide their future.
