LAHORE: The Johar Town police on Wednesday arrested a 55-year-old man who allegedly raped a teenage girl.

The complainant, a resident of Shah Di Khoi, told police that his teenage daughter had not been feeling well for the last few days and he came to know through medical tests that a neighbour raped her a few months ago.

The girl`s parents later told police that being neighbour the suspect used to visit their house. On finding the girl alone at home a few months ago, the suspected man visited her home and raped her and also hurled life threats on her.

A police team raided the house of suspect and arrested him and he confessed to his crime. Police also lodged a criminal case.
