ISLAMABAD: The body of a 65-year-old woman was found from a wooded area opposite Garden Chowk on Sunday.
This is the third incident in nine days in which a body of a murdered person was found in the limits of the Aabpara police station. According to police sources, there were bullet wounds on the woman`s stomach.
Her body has been shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
A police official, requesting anonymity, said crime rate in the limits of the Aabpara police station has suddenly gone up. `No arrests related to the murders have been made yet, he said.
`On January 24, the beheaded body of a man of about 30 was found stuffed in a sack discovered from a nullah in sector G-6/2,` the official said. On Saturday, the body of a 48 years old man, named Niamat Shah, was found from the Rose and Jasmine Garden.
The victim, who worked in a restaurant, had been stabbed to death with a dagger, he said. A Reporter
