LAHORE: A three-day `Good Governance and Leadership Course` started here at the Olympic House on Thursday under the supervision of the Punjab Olympic Association along with Pakistan Olympic Association`s (POA) collaboration.

POA secretary Khalid Mahmood said the course was introduced in line with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Olympic Agenda-2020 recommendations for Basic universal Principles of Good Governance of the Olympic and Sports Movement.

`It is an effort to comply with the directions of IOC to promote Olympic and Sports Movement through Good Governance at all levels,` he said.

Around 30 participants/office bearers of provincial sports associations of Punjab and executive committee members of the Punjab Olympic Association are attending the course.-Sports Reporter
