HYDERABAD: The Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) has strongly condemned treason cases registered against the Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury and its students wing leader Kanhayya Kumar in India, according to a press release issued here on Tuesday.
CPP secretary general Imdad Qazi and leader Iqbal said Indian communist leaders were bravely facing those cases and making efforts for the rights of people. They paid a `red` greeting to them and said the rulers in the past used to file false cases against leftist leaders, but the people always supported leftist parties for their rights.
They expressed complete solidarity with the Indian communist leaders who, according to them, have been facing a tough time these days.
