ISLAMABAD: Except for SHO, the entire staff of Bhara Kahu police station was transferred on Tuesday to discourage practice of choice posting.

The staff posted out from the police station including six sub-inspectors, nine assistant sub-inspectors, and about two dozen head constables and constables.

When contacted the SSP said the staff of the police station was posted out as they had been deployed there for over one-and-a half years. He said the officials who got posting repeatedly to the same police station or were deployed there for more than one-and-a half years or more were transferred to discourage the practice of getting choice posting. He said the staff of Tarnol and Sihala would also be transferred. Staff Reporter
