MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly condemned the IndiraAbdullah agreement as a conspiracy against the right of self-determination of the people of Kashmir and open violation of the commitments made by India with regard to Kashmir.
The Assembly which met here today [March 1] for its winter session ... passed a resolution expressing the determination of the seven million people of Kashmir to continue their struggle till they achieve their goal.
The resolution ... was unanimously adopted by the House. ... The resolution declared that the people of Kashmir would not accept any agreement against their inherent right of self-determination. It said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till Occupied Kashmir is liberated and the whole state accedes to Pakistan. ...
Presenting the resolution, the Leader of the House [Sardar Sikandar Hayat] condemned Sheikh Abdullah for his continued betrayal of his countrymen. He referred to his repeated somersaults in politics and said that the Sheikh had cut himself off from the Muslim politics of the State in 1938 when he accepted the Congress bait and converted the Muslim Conference into National Conference.
