ISLAMABAD: The capital police busted a gang of robbers and arrested 12 outlaws from different areas of the city which led to the recovery of looted items, weapons and narcotics from their possession.

In response to a tip, the Kohsar police raided a hideout in a wooded part of Blue Area, leading to the arrest of three robbers.

Two 30-bore pistols were recovered from their possession, along with ammunition.

The police also arrested an accused in an attempted murder case and recovered a 30-bore unlicensed pistol.

Similarly, the Shalimar police recovered 10 bottles from a bootlegger and arrested him.

The Ramna police recovered two tampered cars from the possession of two people and arrested them.

The police also arrested a drugpeddler andrecovered 160grams of heroin from him.

The Golra police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in a murder case and recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.

The Police also arrested a drug peddler and recovered chars weighing 130 grams andrecovered a30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

The Industrial Area police arrested two impersonators who in the guise of Excise and Taxation Office officials were minting money from people.

The Sabzi Mandi police arrested a man after a recovery of a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

The Sihala police arrested a man and recovered government registration plates of vehicles from him, while the Koral police arrested a man and recovered a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

Meanwhile, the police also arrested nine professional alm-seekers from the different parts of the city.

Separate cases were registered against these nabbed persons andfurther investigations were in progress
