KARACHI: An appeal to the Muslims in Bharat to stay in their homes was made by Khwaja Shahabuddin, Minister for Refugee Rehabilitation, at a Press conference ... on Monday [May 1]. The conference was addressed jointly by the Minister for Refugee Rehabilitation and Dr A.M. Malik, Minister for Health and Works. Khwaja Shahabuddin said that saturation point had been reached in West Pakistan which could not take any more refugees from Bharat. No refugees could be settled in East Pakistan, either he added.
