National Testing Service

2016-06-02
MANY educational institutions conduct their entrance test via National Testing Service (NTS). Besides, many other organisations, both in public and private sectors, seek NTS services for their recruitment. NTS registration fees range from Rs300 to Rs1,000. Because of low fee thousands of aspirants, who envisage career opportunities, apply to such posts. Per post applications may go up to more than 1,000 at each one ofthe centres.

But when results are displayed on the official website, individuals can view their own scores only but not about their positions. Generally, no merit lists are displayed. Calling on the contact number (only one given on the website) would keep one waiting for hours with no result. Hence the waste of credit. There is no email address through which one can register a complaint. Isn`t it mockery of transparency? Nobody knows if merit is followed or not.

The NTS administration should display complete merit lists on its official website so that everyone is able to know about his position and keep his hope accordingly.

This will end all the suspicions which arise in minds of many candidates. The NTS reputation will be improved among the public and more candidates will appear atits examinations. This means more money for the organisation. This will be a win-win situation for all.
