MIRPURKHAS: A clash between two rival groups belonging to the Khosa tribe left one person dead and 10 others seriously injured in Ram Jago village near Samaro town on Sunday.

The groups first indulged in a heated argument over a petty matter and then attacked each other with sticks, axes and other sharp and blunt objects.

One man, Mumtaz Khoso, sustained fatal injuries and 10 others were rushed to the Samaro Taluka Hospital with multiple injuries.

They were later admitted to the Pithoro Taluka Hospital Pithoro and some of them were shifted to the Liaquat University Hospital in Hyderabad for treatment.

Police pickets were set up in the troubled area, which remained tense until late in the evening.
