Robbers injure three in house robbery

SARGODHA: Eight masked gunmen broke into the house of Riasat Ali in village Laksian on Lahore Road and injured Liaqat Ali and his sisters Sultana Bibi and Manzoor Bibi when they resisted.

They looted 220 grams of gold ornaments.

The police registered a case under section 397 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

PARKING FEES: The Sargodha Municipal Corporation has introduced parking fees in city markets, effective from the new financial year. Officials have designated parking points and are collecting fees of Rs30 from motorbikesand Rs50 from cars.

This move aims to address parking congestion and related issuesin city markets.

ACE: The AntiC o r r u p t i o n Establishment (ACE) of Sargodha has recovered Rs19.945 million from defaulters of municipal committees in Bhakkar.

The ACE said it conducted a crackdown on defaulters of government fees across the division and recovered funds. In this case, ACE officials recovered the amount from shops owned by municipal committees in district Bhakkar, which were not depositing monthly rent to the government treasury.

Further action against defaulters is underway.
