Pakistan down Maldives to reach Asian netball semis

JEONJU (South Korea): Pakistan secured top spot in Group `B` and a semi-final berth at the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship, defeating Maldives 49-39 in their final group match on Tuesday.
Pakistan led narrowly throughout the hardfought contest (14-12, 24-26, 35-32, 49-39).
Standout performances came from Leya Raza Shah,AlishaNaveed,SumayyaKouser,Haleema, Jasmine Farooq and Farah Rasheed.
The national side finished the group undefeated with 10 points and will now face Japan on Thursday for a place in the final.
