MITHI: Vast areas of Tharparkar region, almost the entire Badin district and parts of Mirpurkhas district received light to moderate showers intermittently on Thursday evening and Friday.

Life in the three districts remained paralysed for a fourth consecutive day due to continuing rains and resultant flooding, as well as power outages and disruption in water supply. The weather and civic conditions also marred shopping and festivities on the eve of Eidul Azha. -A Correspondent
