China`s national day marked at UAF
FAISALABAD: The 66th National Day of China was marl(ed at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Thursday.[TOP]
Addressing the ceremony organised in this connection, UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmed said ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would not only strengthen Pakistan economically but it would also help Pakistan deal with poverty, food security and unemployment. He said China had proved its mettle in technology and ithad become a hub of academia and research.
Dr Ahmed said 500 UAF students would be sent to China for education, adding the UAF was working with 13 Chinese institutes in the areas of research and academia.
Chinese Xinjiang Agriculture University dean Yang Zhijiang said Pakistan and China were enjoying good relations and both the counties stood with each other in difficult times.
