QUETTA: The Pak-Iran Joint Border Commission has decided to take concrete steps for ensuring security of the pilgrims travelling from both sides of the border.
A meeting of the commission held in Mir Java, the border town of Iran, on Tuesday also discussed various other issues related to pilgrims, human smuggling, immigration, transportation, accommodation and security.
Deputy Commissioner of Chagai Fatah Khan Khajjak led the Pakistani delegation, while Iran was represented by Col Khurram Sheeram Khusro at the meeting.
