QUETTA: Ghulam Farooq has been elected unopposed president of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) for the year 2019-20.

According to the election committee, Badar-ud-Din Kakar has also been elected unopposed as senior vice president and Dawood Khan Khilji as vice president.

Mr Farooq said that all steps would be taken for enhancing trade with Iran and Afghanistan. `It is my responsibility to resolve issues of traders, importers and exporters,` he said.-Staff Correspondent
