LAHORE: Domestic 50-over will continue after the recent completion of the Champions One-Day Cup with nine departments set to vie in the President`s Cup, which starts across five cities from Thursday.

The 19-match tournament will see teams divided in groups of four and five. While Group `A` will feature Higher Education Commission, Khan Research Laboratories, State Bank of Pakistan and Wapda.

Group `B`, meanwhile, will consist of of Eshaal Associates, Ghani Glass, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, PTV and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.

The Group `A` matches will take place in Abbottabad, Islamabad and Rawalpindi while the Group `B` matches are set to be staged in Faisalabad and Lahore.

The event will kick off with SNGPL taking on Ghani Glass at Saeed Sports City Bedian in Lahore.

The semi-finals will be played on Oct. 13 and 14, while the final of the tournament will be staged on Oct. 16.
