By Our Correspondent 2016-11-02
SUKKUR: Sindh Taraqqi-pasand Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi has said that the people of Sindh had rendered great sacrifices for the restoration of democracy in the country and, as such, all political forces should show maturity and refrain from adopting the path of confrontation which would ultimately undermine democracy and the country.

Speaking to the media at the local press club on Tuesday, he said the people of Sindh had fought a long battle with dictatorship and succeeded in getting democracy restored.

He noted that the common man was exploited by the feudal, caste and class systems. Therefore, he added, the masses should struggle to eliminate such systems instead of supporting change of faces. He said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor had the potential to change the destiny of the country and that`s why conspiracies were being hatched against the project at international level.

In reply to a question, Dr Magsi said when [Muttahida Qaumi Movement supremo Altaf Hussain failed in his plan to divide Sindh, how could a leader like Dr Farooq Sattar could succeed in getting the plan materialised.
