Eighty schools in Lahore Pool Spelling Bee contest

LAHORE: Some 240 students from 80 schools participated in the Lahore pool round of the 12th DAWN In Education Spelling Bee Competition here on Tuesday.
The winners of the pool round 9-11 age group are Lahore Grammar School, Jr.
Branch, 1Al-Ghalib Market, Gulberg HI, St. Peters High School, Warris Road, Learning Alliance, IB PYP & MYP, 32/1, J-Block, DHA 4LACAS, Gulberg Sr.
Campus, Hussain Chowk, Sialkot Grammar School Daska, LGS senior branch, Gujranwala, Beaconhouse School System, Garden Town and Beaconhouse School System, Walton Campus.
The contest being held at the Ali Institute of Education will be conducted in three age groups. The pool rounds for the age groups 9-12, 12-14 and 15-17 years would be held from Nov 1 to 4.
The pronouncers of the contest were Ms. Tehmina Malik and Tanwir Shah and judges were Ms. Sadia Saeed Ms. Ayesha Arif, Ms. Mir Rawtah and Ms. Mishaal Faroogi.
