KARACHI: Sindhi Cultural Day was celebrated at the Karachi central prison on Friday.

A large number of prisoners wearing Sindhi ajrak and cap sang songs and dancedtothetunes of traditional music.

Speaking on this occa-sion, Inspector General of Sindh Prisons Hasan Sahito said that like other events, Sindhi Cultural Day was arranged for inmates as part of efforts to provide them good recreational activities.

`The prisoners suffering from depression feel happiness over such events,` he opined.
