KARACHI, Feb 2: Six ships carrying rock phosphate and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.
Seven ships, Wan Hai-605, Tessa, APL Brisbane, Emirates Kanako with containers, Western Cruiser, bulk cargo loader, Emirates Star and Berthea, oil tankers, were berthed on Thursday after the departure of five ships.
The departing ships were led by Chemroad Journey, Quetta, Pardis, STX Patriakos and President Jackson, while Tessa, Wan Hai-605, Chem World, BBC Asia, Emirate Star and Berthea are due to sail out on Friday.
A total tonnage of 70,751 tons comprising 47,517 tons of export cargo and 23,234 tons of import tonnage was handied on Thursday.
The following ships are due on Friday: New Glory with rock phosphate, Kei with chemicals, Kota Azam, Y.M.
Ningbo, APL Sydeny and Lara Rickmers with containers.
