LAHORE: The Unity Panel on Sunday won the Provincial Management Service (PMS) Officers Association, Punjab, annual elections held simultaneously at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Bahawalpur. The association has some 1,027 voters.

Election Commissioner Farooq Sadiq announced the Unity Panel, led by Imran Shams, won the election with 353 panel votes, while the Dignity Panel, led by Qamaruz Zaman Qaisrani, got 270 votes.

The winning panel office-bearers are: Imran Shamas (president); Muhammad Sajid Bashir (senior vice-president); Malik Rashid Nemat (general secretary); Muhammad Jameel (secretary of finance and welfare); Adnan Bashir (secretary of implementation and coordination); Rao Waheed Jan (secretary of information); Zafar Iqbal Jatial (secretary of legal matters) and Ahmed Ayyaz Khan (joint secretary).
