KARACHI: City Mayor Wasim Akhtar on Thursday directed the officials concernedthattheconstrucdon work of University Road be expedited as a large number of people were suffering many hardships owing to the ongoing work.

Speaking to journalists af ter visiting and inspecting the work on portions of University Road, the mayor said he had not only directed the officials to expedite the work, but also directed them to ensure that quality of the work was not compromised.
