Man dies of heart attack `in parking lot of flour point`

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man died of a heart attack he allegedly suffered in the parking lot of a flour distribution centre set up in Dhanolla locality of Faisalabad on Sunday.
Initially there were reports that a man, identified as Asghar Ali (61), died due to rush of free flour seekers at a distribution centre set up in a banquet hall in Dhanolla locality.
However, the district administration denied the man died inside the flour distribution centre.
The district information department also issued a video statement of the deceased man`s nephew, Ghulam Jilani, who said his uncle was a cardiac patient and suffered a fatal heart attack in the parking lot, where his motorcycle was parked, after getting flour bags.
Asghar`s brother Afzal, wholater reached the spot, also confirmed that his brother was a heart patient and had suffered a severe heart attack around ayear ago.
WOMAN`S PROTEST: A woman tore her clothes and attacked policemen outside D-type police station, Faisalabad, in protest against the police reluctance to arrest the `kidnappers` of her married daughter.
As per sources, Robina Shaheen, wife of Hayat, of Faisalabad`s Nadirabad Town locality, had lodged an FIR under sections 354, 147 and 149 of the PPC against Nazir Bhatti and some other men of the same locality, accusing them of kidnapping her married daughter, Dua Zainab (20). She had also alleged that the `kidnappers` tortured her and heryounger daughter when she raised the issue.
On Sunday, the complainant woman arrived outside D-Type police station and tore down her clothes and shouted slogansagainst police for not arresting the alleged kidnappers. She also attacked some of the policemen and onlookers with a stick, when they tried to stop her.
However, the police claimed that when the woman was taken inside the police station and shown that the main suspect had already been arrested and was in the lockup, she ended her protest. The police officials assured her that raids were being conducted to recover her daughter at the earliest.
SUICIDE: Two men committed suicide at Faisalabad on Sunday evening in separate incidents.
Rescue 1122 said Shahid Masih (40) hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Chamanzar Colony located on Warispura Road.
In Rasool Park locality, Ghulam Fareed (42) shot himself dead. The reasons for both incidents are unknown. Fareed`s relatives claimed that he was mentally unstable for the last few months.
