LAHORE: Pakistan People`s Party Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has said that the main ceremony of the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) will be held at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 4 to be addressed by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

He said all the convoys will go to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh as per the programme, while the rest of the organisations will hold the ceremonies as per tradition.

PPP Lahore Vice-President Naseer Ahmed, Ghulam Hussain Khokhar, Haji Rana Iftikhar Ali, Haji Allah Rakha Bhatti and others left for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Wednesday, while another convoy to be led by Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, PPP Lahore Rural Division President Rai Shah Jahan Bhatti, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala City delegations will leave today (April 3).

Meanwhile, various PPP bodies held special prayers and offered alms for the early recovery and longer life of President Asif Ali Zardari.

On the instructions of Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza, special prayers were held for the long life of President Zardari in 26 districts.

Speaking at a ceremony, Aslam Gill said that President Zardari is a symbol of the federation and all people across the country are praying for his speedy recovery.
