SARGODHA: Babar Budhika, a hardened criminal, was killed in an alleged police encounter in Sillanwali.

The police said Badhika had become a symbol of fear and terror across Sargodha and that he was killed by his own accomplices, while looting people on the eve of Eid.

HELD: In Batrewala Raha Nagar area of Shahpur Sadar police, Allah Bakhsh allegedlyburned his wife`s hands during Ramazan and laterkeptherdetainedin a room for 15 days.

As his act was posted online, District Police Officer Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf took notice of the incident.

The police arrested Allah Bakhsh.

THEFT: On Eid day on Monday, thieves broke into a shop in Sarafa Bazaar and stole Rs9 million worth of 12 gram gold, 30 kilogramme silver and cash. City police have started investigation.
