Robbers strike at four places

ISLAMABAD: Robbers and thieves struck at four different places and made off with cash and valuables, police said here on Monday.
In 1-10/2, three armed persons entered the house of Farrukh Ijaz Khan and held the inmates at gunpoint. They looted cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs450,000 and escaped.
In G-9/4, thieves stole gold ornaments worth Rs200,000 from the house of Dr Mohammad Aslam, the police said, adding that the victim in his complaint suspected that his four housemaids were behind the theft.
In the third incident, a man was deprived of valuables and cash by a group of eight people while he was travelling in a public transport, the police said.
Some thieves struck at the shop of Abdul Majid, located at Chatha Bakhtawar and made off with electronic items worth thousands of rupees, they added.
