GUJRAT: Hafizabad police are investigating a double murder case where two sides have come up with conflicting instances.

Muhammad Azam Surra informed the police that his 18-year-old daughter was killed by their former 22-year-old servant at home in village Lavery Kalan of Kassoki police precincts in Hafizabad on Thursday. He said Nasir later committed suicide.

The police shifted bodies to the Hafizabad DHQ Hospital for an autopsy and started investigation.

Later on, Ghulam Abbas, the father of Jamal, lodged a formalcomplaint with the police that Azam was to pay dues to his son Jamal who had been demanding for the the last few weeks. Azam came to his (Abbas) house in Lavery Khurd and asked his son to accompany him to his house.

He said when his son did not come back, he along with two other family members came to the house of Azam where they spotted Azam carrying the gun with which he killed his own daughter as well as Jamal for their alleged affair.

The police registered a murder case against Azam. Correspondent
