LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has handed over possession letters to 1,700 affectees of the Khyaban-i-Amin Housing Society.

NAB Deputy Prosecutor General Chaudhry Khaleequz Zaman and Director Investigation Ahtram Dar distributed the possession letters of 1,500 plots and 197 houses worth Rs7.5 billion to the affectees in a ceremony held at the NAB Lahore headquarters at Thokar Niaz Beg here on Thursday.

According to NAB, as many as 7,500 af fectees of Khyabani-Amin Housing Society have been compensated so far because of the intervention of the bureau.

Earlier, in October, 2018, the plots and houses worth Rs4.5bn were handed over to the affectees.
