KHUZDAR: Two people, including a Levies man, died in separate incidents in Khuzdar district on Friday. Levies officials said that Abdul Sattar, one of their colleagues, was on his way home from duty early on Friday morning when a passenger coach hit him.
He was injured and taken to the district hospital in Khuzdar where he died during treatment.
The body was handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities were completed.
Sattar was pan of the Levies team patrolling on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway.
In the Kehan area of Zehri tehsil, armed motorcyclists opened fire on a man identified as Jahangir. Jahangir was severely injured and taken to a hospital nearby where he died. The motive behind the attack, according to the sources, was an old enmity.
