PESHAWAR: Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali Khan telephoned Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani and former president Hamid Karzai and condemned the bomb blast in Kabul which killed around 90 people and wounded over 300.
A statement issued here on Friday, said the ANP president condoled the deaths caused by the bomb blast and strongly condemned the gruesome incident. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and Afghan nation.
Asfandyar told Afghan leaders that terrorism was threat to the global peace and security and there was a need of consolidated efforts to eradicate the menace of from the planet.
He said Pakhtuns living on both sides of the border had become victims of terrorism and it required efforts to stop further bloodshed.
He said that ANP stood by Afghan people at this critical moment and prayed for the early recovery of the wounded people.
