LAHORE: Two minor brothers were allegedly kidnapped in Smanabad area here on Friday.

A family residing in Pakki Thathi, Samnabad, filed a complaint with the police,sayingthreeyear-old Raheel and his five-yearold elderbrotherIrtaza had gone to the house of their grandparents located in the same street.

However, when they didn`t return home for many hours, the family started searching for the children,but to no avail. Later the matter was reported to police.

As per the complaint, the children were kidnapped by some unknown persons.

The police said that an investigation has been launched into the matter, and the footage from nearby CCTV cameras were being analyzed to find any clue to the children.

SUICIDE: A teenage girl was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house in the Ichhra area`sNawabpura.

The 15-year-old girl locked herself in a room and reportedly took her own life. The family, however, remained hesitant to disclose the motive behind this tragic act.

The police officials and forensic experts initiated an investigation into the matter.

As of now, it is premature to draw any conclusions before the completion of the inquiry, according to a police official.-Staff Reporter
