CHINIOT: Additional District and Sessions Judge 1mtiaz Nadeem awarded life imprisonment and Rs300,000 fine to a youth for murder of his class fellow.

Ali Shan of Chak 151JB was charged with murder of Ali Waqas of the same village and the prosecution proved chargesin the court.

According to the prosecution, Shan had murdered Waqas on Sept 8, 2023, on suspicion that he had informed the exami-nation superintendent about his cheating in the examination and an unfair means case was registered against him.

The FIR of the murder of Waqas was lodged with the Kot Wasawa Police Station on an application of Azhar Hussain, the maternal uncle of the deceased, who stated that his nephew was sitting at his farmhouse when Shan, armed with a pistol and accompanied by two accomplices, shot him. Correspondent
