BAHAWALPUR: PTI Lawyers` Forum Bahawalpur head Advocate Makhdum Kalimullah Hashmi was seriously injured allegedly by a man and his son near Saddar Pulli here on Monday.

According to police, Mr Hashmi was allegedly attacked by Abdul Hamid and his son Shaheer on a road. They fled the scene after the attack.

Civil Lines police registered a case against the suspects, without mentioning the motive of the attack.

The FIR No 620/25 was registered under the Lawyers` Welfare and Protection Act, 2023 and relevant sections of PPC. The police are making efforts to arrest the alleged attackers,while theinjuredlawyer wasreferred to the government hospital for medical examination.

BOY DIES: A boy succumbed to the burns he suffered allegedly in a gas cylinder blast in Kundian city, while his sister who was also injured in the incident is stated to be in a serious condition.

According to Rescue 1122, the explosion occurred because of leakage of gas from an LPG cylinder in the kitchen of a house, that left Asif (13) and his sister Fatima seriously injured. Correspondent
