KASUR: The youngster, who was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force on Sunday, was laid to rest at his village graveyard at Bhakiwind on Tuesday.
Hundreds of people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers for Muhammad Ijaz and strongly condemned BSF for the killing.
A wave of anger and fear was observed in Bhakiwind after the killing.
Ijaz, who had recently passed his matriculation examination, helped his parents in farming and livestock.
