LAHORE: A young man and his father were allegedly shot dead in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) by unidentified assailant here on Wednesday night.

The incident took place at the Rifle Range Road, where unknown armed men intercepted one Taswar and his father Mahmood and sprayed them with bullets.

According to the findings of initial police inquiries, the father and son suffered multiple bullet wounds which proved fatal and they died instantly.

The attackers managed to flee the scene after double murder.

A police official says the killings seem to be a result of an enmity between the deceased persons and some of their relatives.

He says the victims were facing charges of murder of their relatives in a case registered against them in 2021.-Staff Reporter
