THIS is with reference to the report `PAF secures two coveted trophies at RIAT 2025` (July 20), which detailed the accomplishment of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) that ws held in the United Kingdom.

In a remarkable display of professionalism and technical excellence, the PAF secured two major international awards; the Spirit of the Meet Trophy for the JF-17 Thunder Block-III, and the prestigious Concours d`Elegance Trophy for the beautifully presented C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.

The JF-17`s nonstop flight from Pakistan to the UK with in-the-air refuelling, and the artistic excellence of the `Eyes in the Skies` livery on the C-130, not only impressed global aviation experts, it also placed Pakistan firmly on the map of modern aerospace capability.

This achievement is more than ceremonial; it sends a strong message about Pakistan`s growing technological proficiency, our defence readiness, and the professionalism of our armed forces.

It is encouraging to see our engineers, pilots and technicians getting the global recognitionthey deserve.

At a time when global competition in defence and aviation is fierce, such victories reaffirm the nation`s capabilities, and inspire global confidence in the local defence industry.

Let us hope that these moments of pride translate into continued investment in education, research and innovation in aerospace and aviation. This national achievement is expected to serve as an inspiration for our youth to pursue similar excellence in the service of the nation.
