Two shot dead over old enmity in Lakki

LAKKI MARWAT: Two young men were shot dead over a murder enmity near Haramatala area in the limits of Serai Gambila police station here, officials said on Saturday.
They identified the deceased as Allah Yar, 27, and his friend, Hamadullah, 20, and said that their bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Tajazai.
They said that the attackers fled the place after the double murder.
Habibur Rehman, 56, father of Allah Yar, told the police that after shopping in Serai Gambila Bazaar, he and his son along with Hamadullah left for their Wanda Zarif village on separate motorcycles.
“When we reached near Haramatala on Gambila-Paharkhel Thall Road, Inshaullah and Shakirullah appeared from bushes and opened fire on us with their weapons,” he claimed.
He said that Allah Yar and his friend were critically injured in the attack and died instantly, while he narrowly escaped.
The complainant said that the motorcycle was also damaged in the attack. The police said that the bodies were handed over to relatives after fulfilling medico-legal formalities.
They said that they had started an investigation after registering a case against the suspected killers under relevant sections of law. — Correspondent
