SWABI: A woman was killed after she was allegedly stabbed by her nephew over a domestic issue in Topi area here on Tuesday, said the police.

Mir Aslam Khan, husband of the victim, Chand Bibi, told police that his son clashed with his (Aslam`s) nephew, Mussawir Khan, over some trivial issue in Batakara village. He alleged that during the scuffle, Mussawir stabbed the woman and injured her seriously. She was taken to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The police booked Mussawir and began investigation.

Meanwhile, the Swabi police seized seven kilogram opium and arrested two accused identified as Anaar Gul and Qalam Khan from Mohmand Agency.

In a separate incident, the police arrested two proclaimed offenders and recovered from their possession two pistols, cartridges and 200 gram charas.
