MIRPURKH AS: A oneyear-old girl was killed and her parents were injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding truck in Jhuddo town on Monday.

The deceased girl was identified as Zari Haider and the injured parents as Soomar Chandio and Hakeema Chandio.

They were taken to the local rural health centre.

Police detained the truck driver and impounded his vehicle.
