SUKKUR: Two brothers were killed and their companion was injured when a speeding container-mounted trailer hit the motorcycle they were riding at a section of the National Highway within the jurisdiction of the Economic Zone police station in Khairpur district on Monday.

The victims were returning home in their native Nihal Mashori village of Sobhodero town from Khairpur city when they met with the accident.

The two brothers, Abdul Jabbar and Sad oro, died on the spot and their companion was critically injured.

The area police and rescuers rushed to the scene and shifted the victims to the Khairpur Civil Hospital.
